Brixton SPD consultation

Local people helped to produce the draft Brixton SPD. Between March and September last year people attended a series of events and helped to edit a first draft that set out how we all think the town centre can change for the better and what benefits we want to see from any investment.

The consultation on the draft Brixton SPD closed on 15 March 2013. Many thanks to everyone who completed a questionnaire, attended an event or sent us comments individually - your feedback is a vital part of producing this guide for development in Brixton town centre. Your comments will shape the final document and a feedback, including the council’s response to comments, will be published in a consultation statement alongside the revised SPD.

There were a number of ways that you could find out more and take part in the consultation:

  2. In terms of Ven diagrams everything exists within the circle of ecology. given that, Future Proofing the borough is your 1st and most important option.
I see no understanding of the seriousness of our situation nor do I see any attempt to deal with the burgeoning disaster. Without stable and predictable weather patterns we cant farm. As the situation gets worse the work needed to avert catastrophe will grow faster than our ability to deal with it.
We have signed on for a 2 degree temperature rise which is a global calamity but unless you take this seriously we will have a 6 or more degree rise and that means the end of human society.
    (Do your background reading)
When that happens and we can no longer support ourselves, dissension will grow and it will become impossible to organize and thus survive.
Your document and ambitions look as if you have no intention of dealing with this problem.

Exactly how do you think you are going to address this?
