We’re co-hosting a ‘Learning from Neighbourhoods‘ event with the Academy of Urbanism, who awarded Brixton the Great Neighbourhood 2013 title. The event is curated by local organisation, Anchor & Magnet, and includes talks, mystery guided walks and discussion.
Celebrating Brixton’s success as The Great Neighbourhood 2013, the event will consider:
- The various facets of what makes a great neighbourhood
- How rapid changes have been affecting the physical and social fabric of Brixton
- How to ensure the essence of Brixton stays intact throughout this change
We have 20 tickets to give away for the talks and tours on a first come first serve basis (To request a place email the Academy of Urbanism) and the discussion is open to all.
