The initial round of applications for Pop Brixton closed back in March and we had over 150 applications. The first 21 units will open on 29th May and have all been occupied by successful applicants. With phase 2 and 3 of the project opening in June and July respectively, we have re-opened the application process for the remaining available units.

We are looking for businesses or organisations that have:

  1. A good business plan
  2. Are locally based, or can demonstrate commitment to the local area
  3. Can demonstrate they share the Pop ethos – to support the local economy
  4. Are prepared to give something back to the local community

Please note, that we will not accept any further applications for food or beverage units, as all these spaces were allocated in round one.

To apply for a unit, applicants should visit www.popbrixton.org/rent and download an application pack. Completed application packs should be submitted to rent@popbrixton.org

All applications received to date will be automatically considered in the selection process for units in phases 2 & 3.

Both the 2nd and 3rd phases of Pop Brixton include spaces at subsidised rent levels. This is designed to increase the range of businesses and organisations that can take space on the site.

Applicants can apply to be considered for both the subsidised space and commercial space. Competition is expected to be far higher for the subsidised units. The length of the lease may also be shorter, or we may look to step rent levels up each year.

Application deadline

  • Applications for all remaining units will close at 5pm on 14th June 2015
  • Successful applicants will be notified on or before 19th June 2015
  • Phase 2 units are currently available from 26th June 2015
  • Phase 3 units are currently planned to open 27th July 2015

  1. Nathalie Kealy says:

Hi there, I am very interested in applying for a container for my company to provide my yoga and stress free living services, however I wanted to confirm first I noticed you rent some of the spaces anyone to people when they are wanting to hold an event and wondered whether yoga classes in the green house were something you would be open to?
    Any feedback much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Nathalie
