Welcome to Future Brixton!

The masterplan consultation is now over. Many of you have let us know what you think in a number of ways.

• over 1,400 completed questionnaires have been returned

• over 60 people attended one or more workshop session

• about 250 people came to one of nine roadshow events

• over 70 people attended one of 7 discussion groups focusing on particular interest groups, including young people, ex-gang members and people with disabilities

• about 80 primary school pupils took part in our schools activity programme

• over 50 people contacted us individually by email, the website or letter.

We’re now at a very important stage of assessing all the feedback received. Finalisation of the draft masterplan is now expected to be later than originally planned to ensure all comments are incorporated. The masterplan is now set to be taken to Cabinet in July. Full masterplan details, including the consultation reports will be made available shortly.
